Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. She also was an instructor for the Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and is co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef, with her trademark spiky blond locks and pumped up personality, explains simple techniques that anybody can learn. Chef Burrell also has worked in several of the city's most prestigious eateries, been studying Italian food, its culture and traditions and has competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a child in the Upstate New York area, Chef Burrell developed a passion for cooking and food from a young age. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied following her graduation with an English diploma and Communications diploma in Canisius College Buffalo NY. I enjoyed every moment during my time at The Culinary Institute of America she says. I couldn't learn enough couldn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. After graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) during her time at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. While in Italy, Chef Burrell acquired an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian cuisine. It made a huge effect on the way she thinks about food. Burrell was a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that brightens children who are facing challenges. She is also an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador, where she advocates for the awareness of juvenile diabetes. As an inspirational speaker, she makes trips across the country to share her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field. Anne says she was incredibly fortunate in that she could be able to share her passion for cooking with others.
