Genesis Rodriguez
Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami. She
is the daughter Jose Luis El Puma' Rodriguez (the famous Venezuelan actor and
singer) and Carolina Perez (a Cuban-model). She is half-sister to two other
women. She was a student at the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart. Rodriguez
was an actor since the age of a child. She took classes during the summer at
the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as began additional acting
training. She soon became successful and gained roles in Spanish language series
like Prisionera (2004) and Dame Chocolate (2007). In the popular show
"Entourage", she was also Sarah. Man on a Ledge (2012) and What to
Expect when you're expecting (2012) are some films she has worked on. Jose Luis
El Puma' Rodriguez's daughter. Half-sister of Liliana Rodriguez and Lilibeth
Morillo. On The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January 9, episode in
2013), she mentioned her name as Genesis which is a reference to the British
rock band Genesis. She has Cuban and Venezuelan origins. Being near the ocean
is the most wonderful thing. I'd recommend submitting my resume to NBA.com if
the acting thing doesn't work. I'm a huge basketball fan . . . I'll talk about
all kinds of trash. I feel like I'm representing an era of Latinos who are
bilingual, bicultural people. I'm aware that I can't eat whatever I like or do
what I want. I have to work for it. I give credit to Pilates as well as my
parents' good genes. Making fun of yourself and putting it up on the Internet
is among the best bonding experiences you can get. I like the risk takers. The
ones who risk their lives on the carpet are among my top choices. Charlize Thon
is one of my favorites. She's elegant and stylish I believe. I love Zoe
Saldana.
